Sure can't complain about a reference book like Flaydermans for less than $10. Book was written in 2000'ish. So its WAY out of date on prices, but the technical information is still spot-on.

Hopefully they will come out with a revised version next year. you could easily add 20% to some of these values. It is a great reference, don't trust the prices. the body and text of the guide is excellent. but the values are a good 8 years out of date.

I didn't mind the superceded edition as I wasn't too fussed about the prices (although fascinating).The history and development info is invaluable.

I haven't found anything on the market better. In addition to the very detailed illustrations, the narratives also offer tips in identifying marks, symbols, and markings. Outstanding resource for identifying antique firearms. While I may not be knowledgable enough to comment on the accuracy of their pricing, I found this guide great for identifying older guns.
